Covid-Safe
We take our Covid safety responsibilities very seriously.

The pub was already closed before lockdown restrictions were imposed, which means we've been able to factor in Covid-safety to our planning for re-opening right from the start - meaning a safer environment for all.

You can access our full Covid safety policy for guests here, or please read on for a summary of what you can expect when visiting and the steps we're taking to help keep all our guests (and staff) safe.
Please book to avoid disappointment. Walk-in bookings may be possible, but can't be guaranteed.

Please don't attend if you have symptoms. It'd be great if you could please also tell us you won't be coming.
Please enter using the car park entrance, then sanitise your hands and make contact with a staff member - even if you're sitting outside. (Please don't just sit at an empty outside table.)

Booking restrictions may apply - for example, no more than 6 people per table. We will tell you the rules, reflecting the latest guidance and legal requirements, when you book.

Please bring a mask (for when you're not eating or drinking), observe social distancing and stay at your table (apart from when answering calls of nature or nicotine). We'll come to you for your orders.

When you leave us (until the next time!), please leave via the front door.
By visiting us, you are agreeing to follow our rules, which are for everyone's safety.

As well as implementing and enforcing the above rules, which help us to manage capacity and make sure everyone's looked after, we'll be doing the following things (amongst other, less visible steps) to help keep you safe - so you can be confident that we're taking care of you and you can relax into your visit.

A robust programme of thorough cleaning, including after every guest leaves and cleaning of touch-points every 20 minutes.
Proper PPE and dedicated uniform for all staff, together with clear staff procedures.
Cutlery and condiments brought to your table.
